The Respect Life Ministry of the Diocese of Bridgeport strives to build a cultrue of life, by upholding and promoting the digniiy of human life from the moment of conception to natural death. We work to implement the guildelines of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities, in which we are called upon as church, with our resources, our people, our services and institutions, to pursue the cause of life with renewed energy and commitment. Through prayer, education, pastoral care, and public policy advocacy, we work to proclaim the Gospel of Life in our midst throughout all ages and stages of life. By working together diligently, prayerfully, and courageously in the Lord's service, we hope to transform the culture of death present in society today.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision to access God's power through prayer, fasting, and peaceful vigil to end abortion.

Bus departs from St. Theresa Catholic Church, Trumbull at 5:30am, with a pick up at the Basilica of St. John the Evangilist, Stamford at 6:00am. Cost per person is $75. 40 Days for Life Spring 2013 - February 13th - March 24th

40 Days for Life Campaigns all over the world have generated measurable lifesaving results in countless communities across the nation. Last year, six children that we know of in Bridgeport, were saved from abortion during the Spring 2012 Prayer Campaign. Please consider participating in this peaceful prayer vigil outside of the Summit Women's Center in Bridgeport and help us continue building up our life saving efforts.
